WorldIsraeli siege on Hebron forces more than 530 families from their homes

Israeli forces have driven more than 530 Palestinian families from their homes during a citywide lockdown in occupied Hebron in the West Bank, according to residents and local accounts. More than 1,000 children and 200 toddlers are among those displaced. Residents say soldiers assaulted people trying to return for essential belongings or medication. The lockdown began last week after two Palestinian men allegedly shot and killed two Israeli soldiers near a military checkpoint.
