> California Attorney General Rob Bonta assured voters that state voting rules had not changed ahead of the Nov. 3 midterm elections. He said Trump could not rewrite the rules or the voting system at will. The Justice Department is seeking to stop the state from counting ballots from more than 20,000 registered voters it alleges are noncitizens. Bonta also issued new election guidance and said his office was ready to respond.
