RBC has barred third-party AI agents from accessing its online banking services. As such agents increasingly go rogue and cause harm to services, BMO, TD, CIBC and Scotiabank have warned customers not to share personal financial information with them. BMO CEO Darryl White said last week that customers should never give an AI agent their banking username and password.
