WorldTens of thousands flee Ethiopia’s Oromia-Somali clashes into Kenya

Tens of thousands have crossed from southern Ethiopia into Kenya after fighting erupted between forces from the Oromia and Somali regions in Moyale. The clashes have revived a decades-long dispute over territory, grazing land and water, driving families from their homes into schools and other temporary shelters. The Kenya Red Cross is organising aid for at least 30,000 displaced people.
