EconomyJio Platforms surges on market debut

Indian telecom giant Jio Platforms jumped on its Oct. 28 market debut, following the country’s largest-ever IPO, valued at US$3.2 billion. The company, backed by billionaire Mukesh Ambani, is seeking to expand into artificial intelligence and satellite connectivity.
