# Deadly train collision south of Madrid: what we know so far

> At least 10 people have died after two trains collided south of Madrid, a regional official said. Esther Padilla of Castilla-La Mancha said the toll could rise. Rail operator Adif said one train belonged to Renfe and the other to Iryo, which operates the Madrid-Seville route.
