> Nine women have been compensated after alleging that a police force failed to investigate serving and former officers over domestic abuse and sexual violence. They said reports of alleged rape, assault and coercive control by male officers at Devon and Cornwall Police were not taken seriously. The force apologised and agreed to an out-of-court settlement.
