Jim Kessler, Third Way’s executive vice president for policy, said the group’s polling shows voters moving away from Donald Trump and toward Democrats. He described the coming midterms as potentially a “blue tidal wave” and said Democrats could take the Senate and gain as many as 54 seats if they win long-shot races in Iowa and Kansas.
