SocietySingapore to raise retirement age to 65 and re-employment age to 70 from 2029

From Jan. 1, 2029, Singapore will set the retirement age at 65 and the re-employment age at 70, one year earlier than planned. The government accepted six recommendations from a tripartite workgroup on senior employment. A new Flexi-Load Programme will help employers provide more flexible jobs to workers aged 50 and above, while enhanced tax relief and wage support are under consideration.
