WorldIsraeli assault on Hebron displaces thousands as West Bank restrictions tighten

Israeli forces have stepped up operations across the occupied West Bank, forcibly displacing more than 2,000 Palestinians in Hebron, nearly half of them children. The governor says 400 families were driven from their homes after Friday’s shooting killed two Israeli soldiers. On the assault’s third day, forces demolished homes and businesses as displaced families sought refuge with relatives and friends.
