EconomyChina’s economy grows 4.5% as strong exports offset persistent domestic weakness

China’s economy grew 4.5% in the July-September quarter, above expectations and up from 4.3% in April-June, when growth was at its slowest in more than three years. Exports were robust, while domestic weakness persisted.
