> Satellite images and footage filmed by Al Jazeera show extensive destruction across Israeli-occupied southern Lebanon. Homes, infrastructure and sites of historical and cultural significance have been damaged or destroyed, raising concern about what displaced residents will find to return to. Israel says its buffer zone is needed to protect northern towns, but the destruction raises questions about the future of southern Lebanese communities.
