Politics'Despicable': Democrat Amy Acton responds to attack ad featuring her estranged mother

Ohio Republican gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy released an ad targeting Democratic rival Amy Acton, featuring her estranged mother, Donna Arthur, who says Acton “lied her entire life”. It omits that Arthur’s husband was charged with raping Acton when she was a child, after which Acton and her brother were removed from Arthur’s custody. The ad drew criticism from both parties, and Acton called it “despicable”.
