SocietySoutheast Asia haze: Singapore orders 10 firms to disclose links to Indonesian plantations

Ten Singapore-registered companies in the palm oil and forestry sectors must provide details of their links to Indonesian plantations and steps taken to prevent and fight fires. The National Environment Agency said it issued the orders under Section 10 of the Transboundary Haze Pollution Act while investigating firms that may have contributed to haze in Singapore.
