TechE9X: Battery-powered plane designed for 90 passengers and 1,000-kilometre range

Flying without kerosene is no longer merely a dream: pilots are being trained to operate electric planes in the Netherlands. Battery-powered aircraft could soon carry 90 passengers over distances of up to 1,000 kilometres.
