> At US special envoy Steve Witkoff’s request during a three-hour meeting Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin said he was willing to resume talks with Ukraine and the United States after November 10. Witkoff drew controversy by calling Putin a “humanitarian” for freeing a detained American. The diplomatic push was followed by an attack on Ukraine involving 21 missiles and 210 drones, prompting reactions from Abby Phillip’s NewsNight panel.
