> Kyiv came under a new missile attack hours after Russia said it was “ready in principle” to resume peace talks and the US president said the world was closer than ever to ending the war. Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said six people were injured when several homes were hit on Wednesday night. The attack coincided with a diplomatic push by Donald Trump’s envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
