> Iran’s Revolutionary Guard says seven ships were damaged by explosions in the Gulf region. It said its naval forces struck four vessels in the northern Gulf on Wednesday, accusing them of illegal oil transfers, while three others hit mines and caught fire in the Strait of Hormuz overnight. Diplomatic efforts to end the eight-month war and reopen the strait remain stalled.
