SocietyEU prize honours investigation into rights abuses at Italy’s migrant hub

An investigation by Dutch platform De Correspondent into the controversial Italy-Albania migration deal has won the Daphne Caruana Galizia Prize. The deal is now viewed as a model for deportation hubs outside the EU.
