> Ahead of Brazil’s presidential runoff, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva is intensifying his campaign in Minas Gerais to win over swing voters and millions who abstained in the first round. Supporters at a major Belo Horizonte rally praised his social programmes’ impact on poorer Brazilians, while the campaign warned voters about what could be at stake if rival Jair Bolsonaro remains in power.
