SocietyLaw Society of Ontario receives complaint over Toronto lawyer’s Indigenous identity claim

A complaint alleges that Toronto lawyer Promise Holmes Skinner built her career around an Indigenous identity she cannot prove, including teaching Indigenous law at the University of Toronto. It asks the Law Society of Ontario to ensure its members are who they say they are.
