> The broadcast highlights Russia’s October 21 release of retired American teacher Stephen Hubbard, who had been held for more than four years after being accused of serving as a mercenary for Ukraine’s military. Secretary of State Rubio said Ukraine would not exist as a sovereign state today without billions of dollars in continuing US aid. After US envoys met separately with Russian and Ukrainian leaders, the two countries agreed to technical-level talks with the United States. The program also reports that the US has revoked more than 300,000 visas since Trump took office, some over holders’ involvement in or assistance with birth tourism.
