> Japan has successfully launched a spacecraft on a mission to bring material back from Phobos, one of Mars’s moons. Scientists hope the samples will shed light on the solar system’s origins. The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency says the spacecraft is expected to reach Mars orbit in August 2027 and return in 2031.
