> After days of violent disorder in France, with shops looted and buildings set on fire, police have imposed curfews in cities across the country. Parts of central Paris will be off limits from 23:00 to 06:00; Nice’s curfew applies to young people, and restrictions are also in place in Lyon and Lille. Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu empowered local authorities to impose curfews. Thousands have been arrested.
