WorldUN says drone strikes are now Sudan’s leading cause of civilian deaths

Drone warfare is taking a severe toll on civilians as Sudan’s army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces increasingly attack from the air. The UN says drone strikes killed at least 1,120 people in the first six months of this year. The army says it struck RSF command centres in Nyala on Friday, killing dozens of fighters.
