WorldCameroonian journalist shot in Bamenda

Cameroonian journalist Ambe Macmillan is recovering in hospital after gunmen shot him in the legs in Bamenda. A young woman was also killed when the attackers fired on people attending a wake. The shooting has renewed concerns about risks to journalists in Cameroon’s English-speaking regions, where government forces and separatist groups have been in conflict for years.
