TechWaymo robotaxis are coming to Toronto. But are they safe?

Toronto is set to become Canada’s first city with self-driving taxis. California-based Waymo plans to put its automated vehicles on the streets in 2028 and will begin manually driving them on Toronto roads in the coming days to adapt to the city. Existing ride-hailing services question why more American companies are being allowed into the market.
