World‘Monsters’: Injured journalist recalls West Bank attack by Israeli settlers

Heidi Levine, a journalist reporting for The Washington Post, says Israeli settlers violently attacked her on Friday in the occupied West Bank. About 80 masked settlers dressed in black descended on Abu Falah, burning olive trees and launching rocks at Palestinians with slings. Levine was taken to a Ramallah hospital in stable condition. She said she felt lucky to be alive and credited her helmet and flak jacket with protecting her while she was repeatedly kicked.
