EconomyMolavi: Saudis and Houthis Can Hit Hard, but Not End the War

Oil prices fell as concerns about Middle East supply disruptions eased. Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia caused none of the interruptions markets had feared, while the IEA raised its estimate of the war’s effect on supply. The question of US military support for Saudi Arabia in its fight against Iran-backed rebels in Yemen remains open. Afshin Molavi, a senior fellow at Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies, spoke to Bloomberg.
