SocietySingapore ministers address haze, schools and workplace safety concerns

Sustainability and Environment Minister Grace Fu, Education Minister Desmond Lee and Acting Manpower Minister Jasmin Lau answered questions at a press conference on Friday (Oct. 16), including whether masks would be sufficient if haze worsened, whether schools could move to home-based learning, possible action against Indonesian companies suspected of contributing to the haze, and employers’ duties to protect outdoor workers.
