TechAnduril unveils low-cost Steelfin interceptor with replaceable engines and mission modules

Anduril displayed its Steelfin interceptor at the 2026 AUSA defense exhibition. The company says it costs about one-third as much as the extended-range Patriot 3 and uses a modular design with replaceable engines and mission modules, allowing it to compete with THAAD and Patriot 3 in different markets. Lockheed Martin also introduced PAC-3 Edge, aimed at hypersonic and advanced missile threats.
