Prime Minister Edi Rama rejected calls to resign on Thursday as thousands of student-led protesters smashed windows and clashed with riot police using water cannon and tear gas in the capital. They accuse officials of corruption and neglecting education, and are angry over the sale of part of Albania's southern coastline for a luxury resort backed by Jared Kushner, the US president's son-in-law.
