The eight-year renewal of Singapore’s 27-year-old Bukit Panjang LRT is in its final stretch, with 98% of its 16.6km of power rails replaced. The work is expected to finish by year-end and aims to strengthen the network and improve journey reliability. A renewed fleet of 32 trains is already operating.
