Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand is in India for further talks to strengthen ties. Ottawa is also seeking to reach a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement with New Delhi by the end of the year. Anand called it a long-term goal tied to national resilience and sovereignty, saying Canada should not rely on any one country for economic resilience.
