> US authorities charged Abdulrahman Alfozan, a former OpenAI engineer, with planting a hidden audio recorder in a conference room at the company’s San Francisco offices. The FBI alleges he later returned to check the device and that investigators found a similar one in his bag. OpenAI said it had no indication he accessed or took company data.
