> China’s National Railway Administration has released a railway science and technology innovation plan for 2026–2030. It calls for about 30 industry innovation bases, breakthroughs in at least 100 core technologies, upgrades to the 12306 platform and research into 600 km/h maglev technology, while promoting AI applications and lower-carbon railways.
