> Israel’s 2025 military operation in the Jenin, Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps displaced residents and continues to prevent their return, the United Nations says. A UN report says 33,362 people remain forcibly displaced. Israel’s Supreme Court ordered the government to set a return timeline, but Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich rejected the ruling and Defence Minister Israel Katz opposed the court’s intervention.
