> The United States and Europe are working on a joint peace proposal that would link financial and security benefits for Ukraine and Russia to a territorial settlement, The Washington Post columnist David Ignatius reported, citing sources. Its four elements would include Ukraine’s reconstruction, security guarantees for both sides, energy-based economic integration and a ceasefire along the current front line. The diplomatic effort reportedly followed a recent meeting in Florida.
