> Joseph Kabila has announced a new political and military coalition, the Front for the Refoundation of the Nation, which includes the M23 armed group. Analysts warn it could sharpen confrontation with President Felix Tshisekedi’s government and fuel fighting in eastern DR Congo, while undermining planned talks in Qatar.
