> UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham says he will seek closer ties with the EU and attend a bilateral summit in Brussels next month. He said parts of the post-Brexit trade deal would be renegotiated, focusing on economic growth and illegal immigration, among other issues. Opposition leader Kemi Badenoch argued that Burnham would struggle to win a better deal from tough EU negotiators.
