> In an interview with ABC News journalist Jonathan Karl, Zelensky said Ukraine would hold elections if Putin agreed to a total 60-day ceasefire, adding that Ukrainians should choose when to vote and whom to elect. Trump had urged Ukraine to choose a new president and criticized its strikes on Russian oil refineries. Zelensky said Kyiv would halt those attacks only if Moscow stopped striking Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
