> The opposition says reports that Flydubai pilot Hamad Saif al-Shamsi was radicalised while studying in Australia are deeply disturbing. The UAE attorney-general said he drifted toward extremism and terrorism while in Melbourne. The Coalition plans tighter visa laws, while Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke said the man was radicalised online. Al-Shamsi received a student visa in 2014, left in 2017 and had it cancelled two years later.
