> The US suspended Microsoft, Adobe and several major IT outsourcing firms from a key green-card program and opened investigations into nine universities over alleged J-1 visa fraud. The administration says the crackdown targets fraud and protects American jobs. JD Vance accused Microsoft of abusing the system; the company said most of its H-1B filings were for existing employees’ extensions or status changes.
