# Zaporizhzhia plant needs temporary ceasefire to repair damaged power equipment

> Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant communications director Yevgenia Yashina said Ukrainian attacks damaged electrical equipment at the nearby thermal power plant. A temporary ceasefire is needed to repair it safely and reduce the risk of further blackouts.
