> President Donald Trump said the United States does not need hockey equipment sold by Canada and claimed the US loses $90 billion a year “with Canada.” Trade talks between the countries have broken down, and both have imposed tariffs on goods from the other. Trump also plans 50% duties on Canadian cars, auto parts and steel starting January 1, 2027.
