> At Xi Jinping’s invitation, Botswana’s President Duma Gideon Boko will visit China from October 12 to 17, his first visit since taking office in November 2024. Xi will host a welcoming ceremony and banquet and hold talks with Boko. Premier Li Qiang and Zhao Leji will also meet him separately, and Boko will visit Fujian. China’s Foreign Ministry said the trip would advance bilateral ties and contribute to China-Africa cooperation.
