> Trump said he reached a deal with Putin during a phone call for Russia to supply more than 300,000 metric tons of diesel to US and global markets as soon as possible, followed by 500,000 tons and 1 million tons. Moscow could provide another 3 million tons soon if refinery conditions permit. The US Treasury issued a temporary license allowing Russian diesel sales worldwide through April 7, 2027. Russian fuel exports remain subject to sanctions and domestic export bans.
