> The Russian government has submitted a bill to the State Duma that would raise the maximum age for women in military service from 45 to 50. It would also raise their reserve-age limits to 55 for officers and 50 for other ranks. The government says the changes would provide additional social guarantees and help women qualify for pensions and other benefits.
