# Morocco and Senegal await ruling on AFCON final

> The Court of Arbitration for Sport held a long-awaited hearing in Lausanne on Thursday to consider Senegal’s appeal against the Confederation of African Football’s decision to award Morocco this year’s Africa Cup of Nations title. Senegal had won the match in Rabat, but CAF later overturned the result after the team left the pitch in protest before returning. A three-judge panel is expected to rule soon.
