# Ukraine faces $67 billion gap in funding military spending for 2027

> Ukraine’s defense ministry requested about $175 billion for 2027, while the draft budget provides $108.3 billion. Domestic revenue is $71.7 billion, or $82.9 billion including domestic bonds, privatization and grants. The projected budget deficit is $96 billion, which Kyiv plans to cover with Western assistance.
